The following is an email sent out by a friend of the Hamshar Family
Jason Hamshar an employee here at UVA Health Systems lost his home to a fire early Monday morning (May 12th, 2008). Jason and his family lost everything they owned. In all bad situations we must try to look for things that are good in our lives. The Blessing is this tragedy is that all family members’ lives were saved. A few years earlier Jason told me that he lost two children in a house fire. Thank God for bringing his family to safety this time.
Today Jason is in need of our help!!! Jason and his wife Vicki have three children Alexis, Peyton, and Jason Jr. Jason came into the office today and found out what his family needs were.
Jason and his family are looking for a place to live now. Once they have found a place to live they will be accepting any and all donations. Right now they don’t have a place to store items that are needed. This gives us time to get items together for the family.
Right now we are taking cash donations and preparing for food, clothing, and the basic necessities for the family. Information is needed right now for renting a home or an apartment. The family is looking for a place that is under $800.00 a month and within 40 miles of Charlottesville. Please contact me by email and I will make sure that all information is passed on to Jason and his family.
Please keep this family close to your heart. Thank you for your help, most of all thank you for your prayers for the family. - Mavin Dickerson
