Subject: Everyone knows that Horry's is one of the smartest players in the league

I've never been one to think of Horry as "Dirty" player, although he is definitely one
who does the dirty work, I believe there is a difference, Having said that, if I was a
N.O. fan this morning I would probably be very upset.

In the end though, I just consider this smart playoff basketball. For some of us old
school NBA types, Horry's transgression is light compared to what we saw just 20
years ago. The Celtics of the 80's, the Pistons of the 90's, and even some of the
Bulls teams (think Dennis Rodman). These fouls seem to happen almost ever game.

Personally, I have to admit, I miss that kind of basketball. I would love to see
Lebron take some of the lumber that the Pistons would have laid on him. It would
have taken only a few hard fouls by Laimbeer or Mahorn for him to reevaluate his
aggressive drives to the basket.
