He had the length, instincts, ability to get off the floor quickly,
and toughness to be a great rebounder. He literally owned the defensive glass his junior and senior years. It is hard to reconcile his production with the image of Cain as a skinny guy with a horrible haircut/mustache combo. Tucker on the other hand is a guy who can give you 10-15 minutes off the bench as an outside threat when the other team is playing a zone. That's about it. He is a "short" 6'8 with little ability to defend in the post. He could certainly give more effort on the defensive glass but he has never appeared to be someone with the innate ability to rebound. |
