Except that the current roster of the Red Sox are so difficult to
hate. It's full of hard-nosed gamers. Dustin Pedroia. Jason Varitek.
Jacoby Ellsbury. Papelbon. Ortiz. Kevin Youkilis. Mike Lowell.
John Lester. The list goes on and on. Tough not to like these guys.

My brother-in-law, who is a life-long Yankees fan and hater of the Red
Sox, admits that the current Red Sox players are exactly the type of
player he would want to support, instead of many of the d-bags on the
current Yankees.
