as for your insurance, if it's your first offense, you should be fine. you
are over 21 which helped bring down your rates and when you hit 25,
they will go done again (with a good record)....I'm an agent so I see this
all the time. If the ticket is a reckless driving, you need to try to get that
reduced...this will also help for insurance purposes....also, if you think
it's going to really affect your insurance, since you are 23, I would think
about switching right now to a carrier that will give you good rates and
have a 12 month term...this way, you are locked in for 12 months, not
6...and since the ticket just happened, it won't pull up on your MVR for
at least another month.
