| Subject: Key to beating ND? Production from Emery and Tucker |

Early in the season when we looked like an improved version of last year's
team, we had great production out of the midfield. Now? Non-existant. Briggs, Ticker, and Emery look like they've regressed. This places an extra burden on our attack and results in games like Penn where Steele puts the team on his back. I can't tell you how many awful, awful possessions we had in the Princeton game where we dodged from the wing with our midfield. We were forced underneath and took low-angle shots which were consistently saved. We need to bang it behind after the initial dodge, work it to the back side and re-dodge. We need 4+ goals out of this group to beat ND IMO. |
