Our offense has fallen off considerably vs. earlier in the year, especially
on the 2nd midfield and 3rd attack spots, and we've only had 3 players who are scoring consistently in that timeframe (Stanwick - 10 goals, Bocklet - 6 goals, and Briggs - 5 goals). Emery (3 goals), White (2 goals), and Cockerton (2 goals) have slowed down over the last 4 games, and neither Tucker, OVA nor Kugler have scored in that timeframe. While I hope for a rebound in production from guys like Emery, White, Cockerton and Tucker who've shown the talent to frequently put up multiple-goal games, the longer it takes that production to manifest itself the more vulnerable we are. But we had several guys who played their best lax from the quarters onward last year and maybe we'll see the same thing again starting this weekend. Go Hoos! |
