Message:

theoretically (maybe not ND) but a closer school might have gotten
more peopele....

What shocked me is having UMD and JHU play each other in MD about
two hours away by car and they dont have 20,000ish fans there.....

I was predicting a record crowd for Annapolis w/ Md, JHU & Loyola. Surprised! **  --  HoosInYorkPA   Mon May 21 2012 12:02:12 PM
Beating the crowd of Hopkins-ND and MD-UVa a few years ago? **  --  Lucius   Mon May 21 2012 7:11:56 PM
               Excuse me, Hopkins-Navy. **  --  Lucius   Mon May 21 2012 7:12:11 PM
Maybe Preakness stole a few fans...... **  --  Zhoo   Mon May 21 2012 12:57:25 PM
               Preakness, O's/Nats, other qtrs 2 hrs away...  --  wahoo_de   Mon May 21 2012 1:10:40 PM
Lots of competition in area.Really hurts Maryland&Navy football in the fall **  --  HOOGATORB   Mon May 21 2012 3:03:12 PM
Agreed. Bayhawks drew about the same recently for a meaningless MLL game, so   --  wahoo_de   Mon May 21 2012 12:00:03 PM
Also Loyola another Baltimore school.Denver actually travels pretty well. **  --  HOOGATORB   Mon May 21 2012 11:23:16 AM
I am sure they would but they might have travelled as well as UNC (in theory)  --  Zhoo   Mon May 21 2012 11:47:04 AM
Couple of things  --  OUrulesU   Mon May 21 2012 3:03:26 PM
Next year should be interesting. I don't know about Indianapolis as a qtrs site  --  wahoo_de   Mon May 21 2012 12:51:55 PM
Would that game be indoors?  --  Zhoo   Mon May 21 2012 12:57:01 PM
Yep - it's at the Conseco Fieldhouse I think. FF is in Philly next yr. **  --  wahoo_de   Mon May 21 2012 1:09:34 PM
It would be a shame for lax to be played indoors at this time of the year.... **  --  Zhoo   Mon May 21 2012 2:06:44 PM
I misspoke - it's at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is at least a retractable roof   --  wahoo_de   Mon May 21 2012 3:52:22 PM
A Mortal Sin.Hate to see Lax head down that money road.  --  HOOGATORB   Mon May 21 2012 3:01:26 PM
