Any discipline for GH would not have been imposed as part of a legal
duty owed to YL. Indeed, neither UVA lax nor UVA had a legal duty to suspend him at all. And, as you point out, there is absolutely no proximate cause between this alleged breach of duty and the assault on YL. None. Zero. Nada. I will be surprised if Judge Sanner allows this to last past a demurrer (motion to dismiss). |
