a solid 1-2 punch (with junior Melanie Mitchell) that would produce a
breakout season by keeping the runs down against the majority of opponents. Just didn't happen. At least both are back next year, so maybe with more experience for the pitchers and hitters and perhaps some new recruits we'll see what we were hoping to this year. If injuries aren't the hangup, have to think it's a crisis of confidence at this point. They're losing to teams they should not be losing to. |
