Mountain stages
Stage 7 - 2'05" down to winner and behind elite climbers Stage 8 - 4'58" down to winner and behind elite climbers Stage 10 - won. Down a ton to GCers and no threat. He breaks and competes against non-elite climbers. Stage 11 - 28'10" down to winner and behind peloton Stage 12 - 11'29" down to winner and behind peloton Stage 14 - 18'27" down to winner and behind peloton Stage 16 - won. See stage 10. Stage 17 - down 16'01" to winner and behind elite climbers. However, went out and picked up the early mountain points. See, partly, stage 10. Just interesting that he's KOM because the GCers and elite climbers don't consider him an elite climber and thus, don't concern themselves with him. |
