The last few holes must be a bear. Sure we took a couple of doubles,
but look at the other teams. I will assume that you mean the last 4 holes since that is where we took our first double. Taking the top 9 teams, 6 of who have played those holes, the cumlative score (and it doesn't make much difference if you take only the 4 scoring players) for the teams finishing those holes is as follows: UVa - +1 Ok. State - +9 Notre Dame - +6 NC State - +4 Oregon - -1 USC - +1 I think it is likely that we pick up a score or two on Kent State and TCU as they finish. Counting only the 4 scoring players, take out the last 4 holes and we are trailing Notre Dame, N. C. State and Oklahoma State. I think we are in pretty good shape. ND had one player who shot 79 yesterday and then 65 today (with a double on the last hole). I bet he can't duplicate that. |
