Subject: This is weird

Message:

So the lunch was light on fruits and vegetables. If you must, make the kid
buy some from the cafeteria. But why take his salami and cheese sandwich
away and make him eat chicken nuggets? And since when does a sweet
potato count as a vegetable on the food pyramid or food wheel or whatever
they call it now? How is it any different from bread or any other starch?

I don't mind the school educating parents or kids on food, but this was wrong.  --  HooBear   Sat Feb 18 2012 3:48:50 PM
