Subject: On positive note (for USMNT) Mapp looked good. I also really like Soumare even

Message:

though he may make a silly foul here or there, he has great size, plus
good pace and passing ability for a CB. He should have US citizenship
since his adopted parents are citizens so I think that Nowak should
bring him in for the upcoming Toulon tournament. However, if Nowak
can bring in Neven Subotic from Mainz (Bundesliga 2) then all bets are
off. That kid is a stud, hopefully we can get him to play for the US.

As far as DC goes, I pray that Benny can get back soon. Glad to see
the interview in which he said that he would do everything he can to
get back on the field and avoid retirement. I had read few days ago
about the possibility of retirement and about had a heart attack.

Soumare was great in the box. It helps defending long balls to a 5.2 striker.   --  DC Hoo   Fri May 9 2008 9:44:16 AM
Niell might be short, but he had more heart than anyone else last night **  --  HooDoggy   Fri May 9 2008 3:48:29 PM
