soccer)..i dont really know how to explain it...but there was just such a
different style of play between europe and the us...i went to europe at
age 11 after playing in top leagues in dc as a kid...and the freedom i
was given to be creative and let the game flow was so much more
apparent when i started playing for my school team in europe...all but 1
coach i had here was so rigid on technical aspects...over there it was
much more about letting natural talent develop..letting the players
develop their own chemistry...i dont know..like i said i dont know how to
describe it...

it is also way too political here and who you know...you can have all the
talent in the world and you wont get anywhere with the way soccer was
run in dc back in the day...i was 10 years old and i could already see
how bad it was with the teams, coaches, parents, and particularly when
it got to the ODP level...
