great wins: 1 (spain)
good wins: 1 (egypt) bad losses: 2 (brazil - final, losing after being up 2-0 is a bad loss any way you slice it, being up 2-0 is more like a 20 pt halftime lead in your scenario, italy - we just crumbled in a real opportunity - i could make a case for placing this in the below category) embarrassments: 1 (brazil first go ) overall 2 wins 3 losses in the tournament. people have had heartburn over bradley and the general direction of the national team for a long while now. the fact that the stars aligned during our eqypt match and that we finally came up with one truly impressive performance at an opportune time against spain does not completely absolve him. all that said, i'd rather have someone else coaching, based on a rather large body of work, but KNOW that's not going to happen til after the cup. so i'm not on any crusade. however, i definately understand the people that want him gone |
