Subject: Thanks...it was nervy for about 15 minutes today

Coventry really was on top early, but two quick goals and promotion
was finally sealed. Really can't be too upset that it lasted until
the final day, as Reading played so well down the stretch (though the
3-1 win at St. Mary's a couple weeks ago was closer than that) and
Middlesbrough is a tough place to win. I think the pieces are in
place for Saints to compete next season, my priorities would be a
right back and central defender. I will be interested to see how the
talent up front copes with another step up.

As far as the playoffs, I'm right there with you. No interest in
seeing West Ham (and Allardyce) back up. Same with Birmingham. Bring
Holloway and Blackpool back up, they're so entertaining, just fun to
watch. Or Cardiff, if only for the Welsh derbies in the Premiership.

Further down the Football League, unbelievable battle for 2nd in
League One between the Sheffield clubs. Looks like Wednesday has the
inside edge heading into next week, the team that finishes third will
probably have taken almost 2 points/game this season.
