and because they can't finish like us, the score was close. In fact, the Brits got bailed
out by sloppy play in the penalty box from the Koreans. If you take a look at the corner kick disparity, possession in regulation, and legit scoring opportunity ... I thought the Koreans outplayed them. I think even Giggs gave the opponents credit for that. In any sense, the Brits should have played much better at home. A very disappointing result. And to tell you the truth, none of their younger players really impressed me. They really need to overhaul their youth program. |
