Spain's just so fun to watch. The first 15 minutes were awesome. Total domination.
Xavi-Iniesta-Cesc-Silva combo on the first...four shrimps with other-worldly skill. Cesc's second touch to get around the defender was surprising, but just shows the confidence he has to keep close control and cut it back. And I don't know how Silva reacted so quickly to head it in. Alba's goal was also impressive. Great run, precise through ball. Italy saw it coming but reacted slowly and blew the trap. Classy finish. The Valencia pipeline is alive and well; Villa, Silva, Mata, Alba, and others. Pity their finances are such a mess. |
