To start, what the heck kind of formation is the US playing?
Some kind of 4-1-2-2-1, with a back four of Cherundolo-Goodson-Bocanegro-Johnson, Jones providing cover for the defense, Edu-Bradley higher in the midfield, with Donovan-Dempsey playing deeper behind Gomez up front? Do we have any width? It seems crowded in the middle of the pitch with the personnel we have on the pitch. |
