tourney". As good as Fabregas is, he is out of position where he is
playing (essentially filling in at striker) & the Spanish shouldn't count
on his scoring from that position. Torres scored twice against Ireland,
but that doesn't seem to count for much.

The Spanish coach has a tough decision to make.

The only thing that holds me back from jumping on the Portuguese
bandwagon is their tendency to self-destruct when things don't go
their way. They did well to maintain their poise against the Czech
Republic when they couldn't score (I think that Ronaldo only
managed to score around the 78th min.). However, everyone
watching felt that a Portuguese goal was coming. I am not sure that
the Portuguese could pull that off against the Spanish.

Nani and Ronaldo on the flanks could be scary on any team.  --  blah   Mon Jun 25 2012 5:22:47 PM
      Wouldn't be at all surprised by a Portugal-Germany rematch. **  --  NickS   Mon Jun 25 2012 8:51:14 AM

Portugal can have little of the ball and still look very threatening with it.  --  NickS   Mon Jun 25 2012 1:01:59 PM
