No prediction; but I expect Italy to score at least 1 goal in regulation.
I watched Pirlo extensively last night & he was absolutely incredible. The French broadcasters were surprised that he had been selected as Player of the Match. I was too because you don't see someone score twice in the 1st half & not get selected, but Pirlo was absolutely super, too. The finals will feature Europe's best midfielders. It was a shame to see Hummels, whom Zidane had described as the best player of the tournament a few days earlier, get beaten so badly by Cassano, whose pass set up the 1st goal. |
