Subject: Somdev's ranking this week would get him into the Qualies of any Major

The cut off ranking for the US Open happened to be #275.

He'll be eligible for the qualifying of all majors next year.

He needs to be ranked #104 or above (depending on injuries) to get in
the main draw.

SD currently has 154 points. To get to #104, he needs about 300
more points. He needs to win a couple of challengers and get an
assortment of other points to get to that level by the end of 2008, the
cutoff for the Australian.
