I received an e-mail with an urgent call for ball boys this weekend,
so I took my 12-year old over and got him signed up. Everyone has treated him really well and shown patience and encouragement. He helped out in a couple of matches today and will be back on the job tomorrow. (School's on a four-day weekend here) He had a blast. It's a real hoot hanging out next to all the players. My wife was over there today and got to know a few of the players and some of the parents -- all really nice folks. When I was leaving today, the French guy (Eysseric) and few others players were tossing footballs in the parking lot. If you're local, please come out whenever you can and support Boar's Head and these players! We need this tournament to become an annual fixture. |
