Somdev may not get in every event he wants to, but he'll have plenty of
opportunities to play ATP tournaments. He's in the main draws of Zagreb and Dubai. He'll have qualifying opportunities at Rotterdam and Marseille He's an alternate (#13) in Rotterdam and likely won't get in there. He also probably won't get in from the alternate list (#8) in Marseille, which has a surprisingly strong field. That is just February. Also, Somdev earned 45 points for his 1st round win. He would have earned an additional 45 for winning his 2d round. It will probably be good for him to play and win a challenger, both for the points (80-100) and confidence. |
