Subject: Tough times for American profesional tennis at Australian Open

Message:

No American man made the 4th round or 16's and only Sam Querrey made
the 32's. I know Isner did not play, but still not very good at all.

On the women's Serena will almost certainly make it and likely win it
all. Stevens and Hampton have not played their 3rd round matches yet,
Jamie Hampton plays the #1 seed. Stevens plays Laura Robson and it is
probably a 50-50 match.

I know of no potential rising stars on the men's side and there are
only a couple of possibilities on women's side.

I may be overstating things, but I do not consider 6-1/ 6-0 to be too "small"  --  1969hoo   Sun Jan 20 2013 11:39:15 AM
