made Pat feel better since that one was for all the marbles.
I hate hearing that story about the plane trip and wanting to be out of Virginia airspace, blah blah blah, but history is written by the victors. Had Dawn Staley gotten any one of a couple of difficult looks in among the trees to go down, Tennessee has "Chicago" written into their memory-banks forever. And not in a good way. |
