| Subject: Disagree. McGraw had to know about the insults thrown Griner's way |

There were other ways she could have complimented Griner than by
saying she played like a man. Griner has always taken the high road through all of this controversy and treated the comments as complimentary even the derogatory ones. This doesn't mean that it is OK for people to be making the comments. If you're an extremely athletically gifted 6' 8 female basketball player why do these characteristics have to be considered as man-like. Why can't she just be appreciated as an extremely gifted female athlete who may be a precursor of what's to come for women's basketball. |
