6'3", 307-pound offensive lineman Robert McClure grew up a fan of the University of Virginia. In addition to having seen "a bunch of games" as well as the 2012 Spring Game in person, he attended UVa's football camp throughout high school, beginning his freshman year at James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA). McClure, who is finishing up his first year at Lackawanna City College (Scranton, PA), was in Charlottesville once again this past Sunday, but this time he was attending an invite-only recruiting event as a potential prospect. The 6'2", 195-pound junior hauled in 40 receptions for 750 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning 2012 first-team VISAA Division II all-state honors for his performance. Kamara played for Princess Anne (Va. Beach) his freshman and sophomore seasons, earning just under 10 scholarship offers heading into his junior season. Full Article

Indoor Facility On Schedule For Spring

During the early planning stages, the project was initially estimated to begin during the spring of 2012 and be completed by August 2013, but according to UVa Executive Associate Athletics Director Jon Oliver the project is nearly complete.
