The 6'4", 290-pound rising senior revealed Tuesday night that he will announce his college commitment on June 29, one day before he heads to Oregon for the start of Nike's The Opening, an invite-only combine event featuring 162 of the nation's top prospects. When asked to describe his starting quarterback, rising senior Greg Stroman, Stonewall Jackson (Manassas, VA) head coach Mike Dougherty offered the following: "As a person, you cannot find a nicer kid. He is well-mannered and he comes from a great family. He is the type of kid I'd let babysit my kids. And he's a heck of a player." Multiple outlets report and TheSabre.com has confirmed that Jordan Ellis, running back out of Peachtree Ridge High School (Suwanee, GA), has verbally committed to the University of Virginia. Ellis, who also had offers from Miami (OH) and Western Kentucky and interest from major FBS programs such as Arkansas and Wisconsin, gives the Hoos seven commitments in the class of 2014. London, heading into his fourth season as Virginia football's head coach, asked offensive lineman Will Richardson if he "wanted to join the bus" and become part of the Cavaliers program. The 6'6" prospect replied with a yes, to which London responded with a bear hug.
