Dan River (Ringgold, VA) standout Trey Edmunds was one of the most productive two-way players in the state this past season, totaling 124 tackles with 8.5 sacks at linebacker and rushing for 1,324 yards (7.8 YPC) and 13 scores at running back. Maryland, where his father, Ferrell, played collegiately before moving on to a successful NFL career, North Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech have offered the 6-2, 200-pound prospect, who could be a force on either side of the ball on the next level. N.C. State was the first school to offer a scholarship to Hermitage (Richmond, VA) offensive tackle/defensive tackle Andre Miles-Redmond, who has since scored offers from the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech. Hermitage (Richmond, VA) offensive lineman/defensive tackle Andre Miles-Redmond visited Virginia and Virginia Tech this past week, and we'll have more on those visits later this week. Panthers head coach Patrick Kane provided the scoop on his latest FBS-level recruit, a 6-4, 265-pound junior who has scored verbal offers from N.C. State, UVa and Virginia Tech. Offer Profile: Benedictine DL Nigel Williams

A first-team all-state selection in 2009, Nigel Williams took to the camp circuit last summer, coming away with a "gained sense of the competition," he said, as well as new techniques to take into 2010. The 6-3, 250-pound defensive lineman/tight end would enjoy a productive junior season, racking up 17.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks and hauling in 15 receptions for 236 yards and four scores. Speedy Coleman One Of The State's Best

Tailback J.C. Coleman may only be 5-7, 170 pounds, but he is the next big-time prospect to come out of Oscar Smith High School (Chesapeake, VA). He rushed for 1,399 yards as a sophomore before going for 1,402 yards and 21 touchdowns on the ground this past season as a junior. A dynamic option in the receiving game as well, the speedster totaled 30 receptions for 485 yards and six scores in 2010. Full Article

The University of Virginia is one of 21 scholarship offers The Villages Charter (The Villages, FL) linebacker Noor Davis has received. The Cavaliers certainly have company, as Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Miami, Notre Dame and USC are among the other schools that have offered as well.
