N.C. State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia have extended scholarship offers to South County (Lorton, VA) outside linebacker Oren Burks, who has explored three of the four schools already. Last weekend he was at the University of Virginia, attending Virginia football's February 25 junior day.

Warhill OL Eyes Spring Decision

Warhill (Williamsburg, VA) offensive tackle prospect Parker Osterloh does not want to take his decision all the way to Signing Day, saying he may be ready to commit within the next month or two. The 6'7", 260-pound junior has offers from JMU, Virginia and Virginia Tech, and he is fresh off of visits to Blacksburg and Charlottesville.

Henrico (VA) head coach Roger Brookes believes he may have two major FBS prospects in the class of 2013. One, a shutdown corner and big-play wide receiver, has been offered by Virginia Tech. This year's Signing Day wasn't quite as exciting as last year's, when the Wahoo nation learned that Darius Jennings and Dominique Terrell were joining Mike London's first full class as Cavaliers head coach. Fork Union has been a hotbed for post-graduate talent for years. The Academy has produced many former Cavalier greats including Billy McMullen, Darryl Blackstock, and Marques Hagans. With FUMA alumni Morgan Moses, and Cody Wallace currently in the Virginia program, two new Blue Devils signed on the dotted line to become part of the UVa football family Wednesday. Offensive guard Ryan Doull and wide receiver Adrian Gamble signed their letters of intent this morning and joined London's Cavaliers.

The New Jersey Star-Ledger reported that Rutgers University football hosted seven recruits at the Rutgers/Cincinnati men's basketball game this past Saturday. University of Virginia recruit Kye Morgan was one of those players listed, so naturally there was speculation as to how solid the Franklin (Somerset, N.J.) running back is in his commitment to UVa. UVa has a big weekend ahead on the recruiting front. Football-wise, most of the recruits in the Cavaliers' 2012 recruiting class will be in Charlottesville on official visits. There will be one uncommitted prospect -- Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) defensive back/running back Divante Walker -- on Grounds as well today and tomorrow, and another is scheduled to arrive on Sunday. Basketball-wise, a 2013 class point guard target will be in attendance to see Virginia take on Virginia Tech at the JPJ.

Johns Excited For Signing Day
