The Virginia men's lacrosse team overcame a mid-season tailspin and a first-round scare from Bucknell to win the NCAA Tournament and National Championship over Memorial Day weekend in Baltimore. Coach Dom Starsia, goalkeeper Adam Ghitelman, attackman Steele Stanwick, midfielder Colin Briggs, and the Cavaliers celebrated the title victory on the sweltering hot day in Charm City.
