Jake's brother, Matt Snyder, is a walk-on wide receiver at the University of Virginia.
Snyder played defensive end and tight end his junior season. On defense, he finished with 58 tackles including 8 sacks and one fumble recovery. He added four interceptions, three of which he returned for touchdowns. On offense, Snyder hauled in 14 receptions for 260 yards and five touchdowns.
