Keith Payne Commits

Oakton (Vienna, VA) running back Keith Payne has become the latest verbal commitment for the 2006 recruiting class. Payne, a 6-2, 230-pound three-star recruit, chose Virginia over an offer from Virginia Tech and heavy interest from schools including Clemson.

Payne is being recruited by Virginia as a running back. He has helped Oakton to a 7-2 record this year, rushing for 1,191 yards (over 7 YPC) and 13 touchdowns on the season. Athletic with good speed, he also plays lacrosse.
